“I’d like to keep my “welcome” post at the top of the blog page, so I changed its date. Is there a more techie way of doing this so I don’t have to keep editing it?”

If you want to make changes to your profile information, such as resetting your password or your display name, you can log in and edit your profile.

For users with more permissions (i.e. administrators) you can change a lot more detail, and change other users, but for the purposes of this video, we’ll just do simple changes to a Subscriber user.

Occasionally when you log in to your Admin panel (yourwebsite.com/wp-admin) as an administrator, you may see that there are Spam comments that have been submitted to your website.
